Our Mission 

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides unparalleled mentoring services to youth ages 7-21 who can most benefit from a mentor. Our professional staff recruits, screens, and trains volunteer mentors to help kids empower their potential.

BBBSM serves a nine-county area in Nebraska and Iowa, including Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Saunders, Lancaster, Seward, and Washington counties in Nebraska, and Pottawattamie and Mills counties in Iowa.

BBBSM offers a variety of mentoring programs to meet the needs of different age groups and demographics, including the metro’s only Community-Based Mentoring program and MentorU program. In addition to mentorship, BBBS professional Match Support Specialists provide support services to mentors, mentees, and families to ensure that the mentoring relationships are successful and sustainable.
